Dr. Julia Springs is a board-certified physician with over 30 years of diverse medical experience. She served in the U.S. Marines and Navy as a Preventive Medicine Officer and Flight Surgeon, and was a competitive triathlete who represented the U.S. Navy on the All-Navy Triathlon team.

Dr. Springs specializes in medical cannabis certification (having helped over 15,000 patients since 2017), hormone therapy for men, women, and transgender patients, and preventive medicine. Her military background and diverse clinical experience bring a unique, disciplined, and compassionate approach to patient care.

Darren Schmidt

Practice Manager

Darren brings a technology and project management background with two decades of experience at The Nielsen Company. He has previously worked with Trulieve and Marijuana Doctor before joining Doctor Springs. Darren handles scheduling, marketing, and operations with a focus on delivering an exceptional patient experience. He is also a cannabis education advocate with extensive knowledge of Florida dispensary options.

Lauren is a native Floridian with over 15 years of medical field experience, beginning at Tampa General Hospital before transitioning to private practice. With two years of experience in the medical marijuana industry, she handles scheduling, charting, patient education, state documentation, and issue resolution. Lauren’s warmth and experience ensure every patient feels welcome and well-cared-for from the moment they reach out.
