Telehealth Medical Marijuana Evaluations

Doctor Springs offers secure, HIPAA-compliant telehealth appointments for medical marijuana evaluations. If you are an existing patient that already has their MMJ card and is in need of a renewal, you can complete your entire visit from the comfort of your home – available to recertifying patients anywhere in Florida.

How Telehealth Evaluations Work

Book Your Appointment

– Call or schedule online. Select "Telehealth" as your visit type. Please note that New Patients must be seen in person at our Tampa, FL office per Florida Law.

Complete Intake Form and Invoice

– Fill out our convenient online form and upload any relevant records before your visit.  We also require payment to be completed prior to your appointment time so that we can get your new certification in directly after your video visit with Dr. Springs.

Video Consultation

– Meet with via secure video. The evaluation is the same thorough process as an in-office visit.  The process is simple and there are no additional apps or software to download! All you need is a computer or mobile device with a camera and microphone and a stable internet connection. 

Receive Certification

– If approved, your certification is entered into the state registry immediately following your appointment and you are able to shop at any licensed dispensary in Florida.  

Ongoing Support

– Our team provides dosing guidance, product recommendations, and order adjustments by phone or video as needed for the duration of your certification.  We also provide follow-up appointments and reminders when it's almost time to re-certify! 

Who Are Telehealth Recertifications Right For?

• Patients who live far from our office (Please note that new patients must seen in person at our office for their first certification.  After that, all subsequent appointments can be completed via tele-health)
• Patients with mobility limitations or chronic pain that makes travel difficult
• Busy professionals who prefer the convenience of a virtual visit
• Renewal patients who have an established relationship with Dr. Springs
• Patients in rural areas with limited access to cannabis physicians

• A smartphone, tablet, or computer with a camera and microphone (make sure to test camera and microphone before your appointment)
• A stable internet connection
• A private, quiet location for your appointment
• Do not drive during your appointment

No matter where you live in the state, you can access the same expert care and compassionate evaluation available at our office. New Patients must been seen in person at our office in Downtown Tampa, FL for their first consultation.
